Welcome

We, at the Traditional Martial Arts Center (TMAC), offer classes in Tang Soo Do, Tai Chi, Filipino Martial Arts (Arnis) and KarateAerobics. Our instructors have many years of experience and classes are geared towards different age groups, enhancing the learning and understanding of the students. We encourage family participation. Once you embark on training in a martial art, you will discover muscles not usually used, develop strengths you have not realized, and discover an understanding of self and how you can become part of a larger family. At TMAC our motto is Discipline the Body, Control the Mind, Develop the Spirit. We hope you join us at TMAC!

Our Logo

The yin-yang (interlocking black and white circle) represents the ever-changing interaction of all opposites in the universe, good-bad, hard-soft, light-dark, etc. The small black dot in the white and the small white dot in the black indicates that nothing is purely one or the other (each includes a bit of its opposite). We strive to strengthen our yang-positive, good, caring, etc., and to recognize and work towards changing our yin-weak qualities. The seagull in the center of our logo represents a continuous struggle towards a higher level of mental awareness and physical proficiency.
